High level Mixed Martial Arts action returns to the cage on the 24th of April when several of the sports up and coming fighters take centre stage at the Bath Pavillion for KNUCKLEUP: THE NEW BREED Featuring several amateur and professional MMA fighters from around the UK, KnuckleUp: The New Breed will give fans the opportunity to see a number of exciting battles involving some of the brightest prospects in the sport.

With tickets priced at £25 and £30, the event is expected to be yet another popular event presented by Dane Bowers and Matthew Hand. The evening will be a fantastic platform for some of the sports amateurs, with the opportunity to show their capabilities at a competitive level of martial arts without harming their professional records.Once establishing themselves at an amateur level of combat, some of the stars will be given the opportunity to make their professional debuts on the KnuckleUp Sky Sports television events later this year. With around ten amateur fights on the card and three professional bouts, it’s expected to be another top night of mixed martial arts action from the KnuckleUp brand, rounding up the Amateur card, will be left to the ladies, we have Katherine Jackson fighting out of the Concept Gym in Newquay taking on Dominique Kay from the A Team in Bolton, in a fight that will take place at 55kg. For the night’s professional fights, we have Liam Bennett from Team Mayhem taking on undefeated Dragons Lair MMA welterweight Kent Kauppinen.Lozzer Fitz from the Wolfslair makes his professional debut at 70kg taking on independent fighter Craig Allen.  Finally, in a lightweight battle, GB Bath’s Grant Harris returns to KnuckleUp following his war with Kris Edwards last time around, when he takes on Ben Crook from Lions Den MMA in Exeter. Harris edged a split decision victory in his last KnuckleUp fight and will be hoping for another victory when he steps inside the cage.
